Grindstone Sync Server may be installed by you within your own network — this requires that you own licenses for Windows Server and SQL Server — offering exclusive control of your own data. If you do not have your own hosting facility, you may instead choose to use your own cloud-hosted resources — Epiforge recommends Azure Virtual Machines running Windows Server and Azure SQL Database for this purpose.
Grindstone Sync Server may be downloaded, installed, and configured for free. Each individual person connected to a Grindstone Sync Server installation requires a licensed seat. Seats cost $10 per month. A single license may provide any number of seats over any number of months, tailored to your needs.
